"Tårnvogna" (the tower wagon) is a maintanance of way car for installing/fixing overhead wire. It was built in 1906 and is still in use. It runs on the meter gauge railway "Thamshavnsbanen" in the middle of Norway.
It was a 25 km. long mining railroad transporting sulfur and copper ore from the mines at Løkken to the port of Thamshavn.
This was the first electric railway in Norway, and maybe the first electric railway in the world using AC sucsessfully. It operated between 1908 and 1974. Today it is a museum railway.
